Excerpt from Bilret's Decision

Excerpt from Bilret's Decision -

They had great cities.  Their cultures were complex.  They had developed technologies that rivaled other distant civilizations.  Yet they, like most others, had weaknesses.

As they advanced, they grew arrogant and self indulgent.

As what happened with the vast majority of civilizations, they became to believe that their self entitlement was a rule that extended over all of the other civilizations.  They imposed themselves over all others, and in their arrogance, believed that they were masters over all others.

They began to impose rules upon distant civilizations, and began to dictate laws over the way that others lived.  They set themselves upon the backs of every other civilization as they believed that it was supposed to be.

The arrogance.

We did not like how this group developed, for they were destructive and their need to subjugate others was unacceptable.  They were a poorly developed project.  We disposed of them, and now a great tempestuous sea exists where they once lived.
